Location: MontroseContract: PermanentSalary: £25,000 - £28,000 per annum DOEHours: Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm, Friday 8am-1:30pm About the RoleWe are looking for a motivated Junior Finance Assistant to support the day‑to‑day financial operations of our Manufacturing client based in Montrose. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to build a career in finance and accounting, with training and development available as the role grows. Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Financial Record Keeping</li><li>Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date financial records</li><li>Organise and record invoices, expenses, and financial transactions</li><li>Accounts Payable &amp; Receivable</li><li>Assist with processing invoices, payments, and customer receipts</li><li>Ensure timely and accurate payment processing</li><li>Track outstanding invoices and follow up when required</li><li>Bank Reconciliation</li><li>Monitor financial transactions</li><li>Reconcile bank statements and investigate discrepancies</li><li>Manage spreadsheets and perform data entry</li><li>Handle finance‑related correspondence</li><li>Respond to queries from clients, suppliers, and internal teams</li><li>Clarify financial information and help resolve issues</li></ul> Requirements<ul><li>1-2 Years experience in a similar role</li><li>Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field</li><li>Strong numerical and analytical skills</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software</li><li>Understanding of basic accounting principles</li><li>Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills</li></ul> This position is available to start immediately if you are interested please apply today.Blue Arrow is proud to be a Disability Confident Employer and is committed to helping find great work opportunities for great people.
