HGV Class 1 Day Driver

We are recruiting HGV Class 1 (C+E) Day Drivers for an ongoing general haulage contract based at DN14 0FD, working in partnership with XPO Logistics. This is a weekday‑only role offering regular start times, pre‑planned routes, and long‑term stability.

Job Details

• HGV Class 1 general haulage work
• Customer deliveries across the UK network
• Pre‑planned routes and schedules
• Professional, customer‑focused driving role

Pay & Working Hours

• £16.23 per hour (PAYE) + holiday accrual
• Monday to Friday
• Start times: 05:00 or 06:00
• Average shift length: 11 hours
• Ongoing, long‑term contract

Fleet & Driver Support

• Modern, well‑maintained Class 1 vehicles
• Full induction and onboarding provided
• Supportive transport and planning team

Driver Requirements

• Full UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Minimum 3 months Class 1 driving experience
• Reliable, safe, and customer‑focused
