Swansea - Warehouse Operative- Afternoons

Blue Arrow is currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Operative/Picker to join our clients team based in Gorseinon working afternoon shifts.

Rate of pay: £12.71ph for the first 12 weeks increasing to £13.10ph thereafter

Hours of work: Monday to Thursday: 2.30pm-10.30pm shifts and Sunday 10.30am job and finish (paid for 8 hours but can finish as soon as the work is done). OFF FRI & SAT each week.

Contract: Temporary

As a warehouse operative you will be involved in a wide variety of tasks to include:-

* Working in chilled and freezer environments as well as the shop floor

* Picking and scanning client orders

* Assisting drivers with deliveries to maintaining depot standards

* Driving forklift/ pallet trucks (if you have experience)

* Stock control and goods-in-processing

Candidate requirements:

* Previous experience in a warehouse role

* Picking experience

* Experience using hand held scanners

* Experience operating a pallet truck or reach truck- licence is desirable but not essential

* Team player

* This role is a busy and physically demanding role and you will need to be able to work on your feet for the duration of your shifts
