Blue Arrow Edinburgh are recruiting for a temporary Stores Officer for our Public Sector client located in Edinburgh City Centre. The ideal candidate will have:* Previous experience in a stores or warehouse environment.* Experience in using ERP/Stock/E-Procurement systems to receive and issue goods.* Good level of health and safety awareness.* Positive attitude to work with the ability to work within a team of stores officers.* Flexibility to work between sites when required. This position is for 6 months initially, with the possibility of extension. Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Receive, check and put away stock deliveries</li><li>Pick and issue materials as required</li><li>Maintain accurate stock records and report discrepancies</li><li>Keep the stores area clean, organised and safe</li><li>Support regular stock takes</li><li>Follow health &amp; safety and company procedures at all times</li></ul>Skills &amp; Experience<ul><li>Previous stores or warehouse experience desirable</li><li>Good attention to detail and basic record-keeping skills</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team</li><li>Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks</li></ul> Blue Arrow is proud to be a Disability Confident Employer and is committed to helping find great work opportunities for great people.
