Chef - Coastal Restaurant, Padstow

Location: Padstow

Pay Rate: £15.21 per hour (including tronc)

Hours: 40 hours per week (across 5 days)

Overtime: Paid monthly

Operation: Hotel restaurant (dinner only) + Outdoor seasonal restaurant

About the Role

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a committed Chef to join a well‑regarded coastal restaurant in Padstow, working across both a dinner‑only hotel restaurant and a lively outdoor dining space open seasonally from Easter to the end of September.

You'll be part of a talented team delivering high‑quality dishes across two exciting concepts:

Hotel Restaurant

• Open evenings only
• Up to 130 covers per night

Outdoor Restaurant

• Features a pizza oven, grill, and outdoor seafood cooking
• Open Easter-September
• Up to 300 covers per day

This is an excellent role for a chef with a solid cooking background who is confident running a section and enjoys a mix of quality and high‑volume service.

Key Responsibilities

• Run your own section confidently during busy services.
• Support kitchen operations across both indoor and outdoor restaurants.
• Prepare and cook dishes to a consistent, high standard.
• Work closely with the senior chefs to maintain smooth service flow.
• Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are met.
• Contribute positively to the team culture and service quality.

What We're Looking For

• Good cooking background - hotel, restaurant, grill, or coastal dining experience ideal.
• Confident working a section independently.
• Comfortable in fast‑paced, high‑volume service (up to 300 covers).
• Strong teamwork, reliability, and attention to detail.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow.
