Catering Team Leader - Seasonal

About the Role

Full time Fixed Term Seasonal contract period between February - October 2026 with Flexible start and end dates, with opportunity for a permanent role

40 hours per week (5 days out of 7) Predominantly Monday-Friday with occasional weekend work. Earn up to £27,000 (pro rota) Per Annum

Responsibilities:

Produce high quality food offer for guest and staff within budget and on time, ensuring all dietary needs are met in line with legislation and guest needs, maintaining stock levels and minimising wastage, liaise with the Chef Manager to ensure adequate staff levels are available, general cleaning and maintaining hygienic environment, security of stock and catering premises.

* Prepare and cook for students and staff on a day-to-day basis to dish specs and costings

* Manage dietary requirements of students and staff

* Ordering stock

* Minimise wastage

* Maintain hygienic working environment in line with FSMS

* Liaise with management to gather correct numbers for catering requirements

* Ensuring all catering areas are ready for service

* Check staffing levels are correct

* Service of food to students and staff

* Operating in alignment with HACCP protocols

Person Specification:

* At least 2 years' experience working in a senior role within an established catering outlet.

* Must hold the following qualifications:

➢ Food Hygiene Level 3

Training and Development

* Progression plan informed using customer and observation KPI's with CPD Sessions to help you achieve.

* Enhanced Safeguarding training.

* Access to Online Training Modules.

* Full induction and training plan.

* Allergy awareness qualification.

* Health & Safety at work.

Package

* Earn up to £27,000 (pro rata)

* Accommodation Package offered.

* 3 meals a day during working days.

* Uniform Provided.
