<h2><strong>Corporate Support Officer (Temporary, Full-Time)</strong></h2><p><strong>Contract:</strong> Full-time, Temporary (until end of July)</p><p><strong>Location:</strong> Derby</p><p><strong>Salary:</strong> 13.69 p/hr</p><p> </p><h3><strong>About the Role</strong></h3><p>We are seeking an organised and proactive <strong>Corporate Support Officer</strong> to provide high‑quality administrative support to our clients Senior Management Team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and enjoys a varied workload.</p><h3> </h3><h3><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h3><p>In this role, you will:</p><ul><li>Provide comprehensive administrative support, including typing letters, reports, minutes, and other documentation.</li><li>Arrange and coordinate meetings, venues, equipment and refreshments.</li><li>Manage diaries and schedule appointments, interviews, and events.</li><li>Handle telephone enquiries and provide appropriate advice and assistance.</li><li>Maintain efficient electronic and paper filing systems, ensuring confidentiality.</li><li>Take and produce accurate minutes for a range of meetings.</li><li>Process, check and verify information and records.</li><li>Prepare agendas, meeting papers, presentations and reports.</li><li>Collate data, compile statistics and support project work.</li><li>Support the organisation of corporate events, seminars and briefings.</li><li>Receive, record and respond to enquiries from stakeholders such as MPs and Councillors.</li><li>Assist with controlled documentation and hybrid mail processes.</li><li>Provide support to governance functions, such as organising training sessions and maintaining training records.</li><li>Liaise regularly with the Senior Management Team to coordinate workloads and meet deadlines.</li><li>Offer support to colleagues and provide cover during absences.</li><li>Comply with all relevant policies including Health &amp; Safety, customer service standards and equality commitments.</li></ul><h3><strong>About You</strong></h3><p>You will be a great fit for this role if you have:</p><ul><li>Strong administrative experience and excellent attention to detail.</li><li>Confidence using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel).</li><li>Great communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>The ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and maintain confidentiality.</li><li>Experience taking minutes (desirable but not essential).</li></ul><h3><strong>What They Offer</strong></h3><ul><li>A supportive and collaborative working environment</li><li>Varied and meaningful administrative work</li><li>Opportunity to contribute to key organisational functions</li><li>Full-time temporary contract until the end of July</li></ul><p> </p><p>Blue Arrow is proud to be a Disability Confident Employer and is committed to helping find great work opportunities for great people.</p>
