In this role you will be supporting senior managers with a range of business support tasks, including attending meetings and taking notes.

We are looking to recruit an organised and motivated Business Support Officer to join the Business Support Team, supporting Children and Families, Social Care Teams. You will be working on a full-time basis, initially for a 3-month period. This is a new role and, in this role, you will be providing business support for the Stability Forum and the Children and Families First Programme.

The purpose of the forum is to proactively support children at risk of moving from home or foster care to a children's home including responding quickly to a developing situation. To provide a supportive space for practitioners to collaborate regarding children at risk with the aim of increasing stability and preventing and or lowering the risk of a move

About the Role
As a Business Support Officer, you will work closely with the Head of Service and Service Manager, to provide business support for key work tasks. Your main duties and responsibilities will include:
* Overseeing a shared email account and managing referrals for the Stability Forum
* Attending the Stability Forum meetings on a fortnightly basis and taking notes
* Adding meeting notes to LCS database
* Circulating meeting notes to attendees
* Providing a wide range of business support tasks and functions to support the Families First Programme, these tasks will be developed with the successful-post holder
* Liaising with internal and external colleagues
* To take ownership and responsibility for your daily work tasks, to ensure that deadlines are met and work completed in a timely way

About You
You will need to be proactive and a detailed orientated person with:
* Experience and knowledge of attending meetings and taking notes.
* Confidence in using a database, to search, add and retrieve information.
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
* Experience of using Office 3365, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
* Confident user of SharePoint, saving, sharing and retrieving documents.
* Knowledge and understanding of confidentiality and discretion, data-protection and GDPR policies and procedures.
* Good communication skills, with colleagues, senior management, internal customers and external agencies
* This role is office based, with some opportunity to work from home after training, but the successful person will need to work from the office when needed.
