We're looking for a Warehouse Operative to support the safe and efficient movement, storage, and retrieval of files and boxed items. You'll also support continuous improvement across the team and, where licensed, operate forklift equipment safely and confidently. What You'll Be Doing<ul><li>Retrieving and re-filing files and boxes in line with agreed SLAs</li><li>Managing inbound and outbound box movements</li><li>Palletising, wrapping, logging, booking in and scanning items for accurate stock control</li><li>Safely storing items within the warehouse racking system</li><li>Operating forklift equipment safely (training provided if unlicensed)</li><li>Processing incoming goods accurately and communicating with Logistics Support</li><li>Supporting team meetings, sharing feedback, and helping drive continual improvement</li><li>Identifying opportunities to enhance processes and boost efficiency</li><li>Maintaining a clean, safe and organised warehouse environment</li><li>Adhering to all Health &amp; Safety procedures and quality standards</li><li>Carrying out ad‑hoc duties as required by the business</li></ul>This role involves regular manual handling and requires a good level of physical capability.Why This Role Is Great<ul><li>Forklift training, if not already licensed</li><li>A steady Monday-Friday daytime schedule</li><li>A clear, structured role where your attention to detail truly matters</li><li>A friendly, supportive team environment</li><li>Annual pay increase scheduled for April 2026</li></ul>Skills &amp; Attributes You'll NeedCore Skills<ul><li>Strong organisational skills and ability to work methodically</li><li>Confidence using scanning equipment and warehouse logging systems</li><li>Ability to follow set procedures and work instructions precisely</li><li>Good communication skills, especially when working with Logistics Support</li><li>Accuracy when logging, booking in, and tracking items</li></ul>Physical Requirements<ul><li>Ability to undertake manual handling tasks</li><li>Good physical stamina for walking, lifting, wrapping, and palletising</li><li>Comfortable working within a warehouse environment</li></ul>Technical &amp; Licensing<ul><li>Aislemaster forklift licence is desirable, but not essential</li><li>Willingness to undertake forklift training if not already licensed</li><li>Clean driving licence is a bonus for wider operational support</li></ul>Personal Qualities<ul><li>Reliability and strong work ethic</li><li>Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy</li><li>Positive attitude with a willingness to support continuous improvement</li><li>Team player with a proactive, solutions‑focused approach</li></ul>Employment will be subject to passing screening requirements, including a DBS and credit history check, clear of sanctions.
