Location: Daventry

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm

Contract: Full-time

Role Overview

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join our team in Daventry. You will play a key role in supporting the daily warehouse operations, ensuring goods are received, stored, picked, and dispatched efficiently, accurately, and safely.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive deliveries, check goods against delivery notes, and report discrepancies.
• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders in line with company standards.
• Load and unload vehicles using manual handling and, where required, warehouse equipment.
• Maintain accurate stock records and support routine stock checks and audits.
• Operate warehouse machinery (e.g., pallet trucks, forklifts if qualified).
• Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and compliant with health & safety procedures.
• Work closely with supervisors and colleagues to meet daily operational targets.
• Follow all company policies, including quality control and safe working practices.

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment (preferred but not essential).
• Good attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast‑paced environment.
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling activities.
• Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively.
• Basic IT literacy for scanning systems or stock software (training provided).
• Forklift licence (an advantage but not required).
