Contract: Ongoing Temporary Role
Hours: Monday-Friday, 08:00-16:00
About the Role
You will play a key part in ensuring the smooth operation of the canteen stores function. This includes accurately preparing customer order packs, maintaining stock controls, and supporting the wider team with general stores duties.
This role suits someone organised, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment where accuracy is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Order Processing & Stock Control
- Collate and prepare order requests using internal request sheets
- Accurately bag, tag, and record all order transactions
- Maintain stock rotation and follow stock control procedures
- Complete weekly, monthly, and year‑end stock checks
- Investigate and report any discrepancies to management
- Deliveries & Returns
- Receive, off‑load, and check all incoming deliveries
- Report shortages, damages, or overages
- Process returns, including faulty or damaged items, ensuring correct credit or replacement procedures
- General Stores & Housekeeping
What we are looking for
- Strong attention to detail
- Good organisational skills
- Ability to follow procedures accurately
- Comfortable with manual handling tasks
- Experience in stock, warehouse, or stores roles is beneficial but not essential
