Shifts: Double Day Shift
Location: Kirriemuir
Pay Rate: £13.90 per hour
Contract: Temporary to Permanent


The Role
Blue Arrow are currently recruiting a Weaver to join the production team on a double day shift pattern. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with weaving or textile manufacturing experience who is looking for a secure role with the potential to become permanent.

Key Responsibilities
* Operate power looms and weaving machinery safely and efficiently
* Monitor loom performance, identifying and correcting faults such as broken ends or picks
* Carry out routine machine adjustments to maintain fabric quality
* Inspect woven fabric for defects and ensure products meet quality standards
* Maintain accurate production records and follow work instructions
* Work closely with supervisors and colleagues to meet daily production targets
* Keep the work area clean, organised, and compliant with health & safety procedures
Skills & Experience Required
* Previous experience in weaving, textiles, or a similar manufacturing environment (preferred but not essential)
* Strong attention to detail and ability to spot faults quickly
* Good mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn machine operation
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast‑paced environment

Shift Pattern - Double Day Shift
* Early Shift: Typically around 06:00-14:00
* Late Shift: Typically around 14:00-22:00
