Electrical Maintenance Operative

Salary: £30,000-£45,000

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00-16:30 (40 hours per week)

Location: Field‑based across multiple UK sites

A well‑established UK property operator is looking for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Operative to join their growing facilities team. You'll be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance across a portfolio of modern commercial buildings, including storage facilities, office units, and small retail sites.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Completing routine and reactive electrical maintenance across multiple properties
  • Diagnosing faults and carrying out efficient repairs
  • Working safely within Permit to Work requirements and all H&S procedures
  • Maintaining accurate records of work completed, materials used, and associated costs
  • Ensuring sites remain safe, tidy, and compliant at all times

What We're Looking For

  • Fully qualified electrician (apprenticeship completed)
  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
  • 18th Edition certification
  • Experience with cladding and roofing works
  • IPAF licence
  • CSCS card (desirable)
  • Solid knowledge of H&S and risk assessments
  • Strong IT confidence for logging work
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Able to work independently and manage KPIs/SLA deadlines
