Catering Manager - Full Time, Permanent
Salary: £27,367-£29,729 actual
Hours: 37 hrs/week, Monday-Friday, approx. 6:30/7:00am-2:30/3:00pm (negotiable)
Contract: 40 weeks per year (term‑time + training days + 1 week holiday)
Start Date: April 2026
A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Catering Manager to lead a busy, friendly school catering team. We're looking for someone skilled, organised, and passionate about delivering high‑quality, nutritious meals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate the catering team
- Plan balanced menus that meet dietary and school food standards
- Oversee daily kitchen operations
- Manage budgets, stock, and waste
- Maintain excellent food hygiene and safety standards
- Engage with students, staff, and parents to improve service
About You:
You'll have experience in a similar environment, strong food safety knowledge (Level 3 preferred), great leadership skills, creativity in menu planning, and a positive, proactive approach.
