This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a busy environment and takes pride in helping to provide nutritious meals for children.

About the Role

As a Casual Kitchen Assistant, you will support the smooth running of the school kitchen. Duties include:

• Assisting with basic food preparation
• Serving meals to pupils and staff
• Keeping the kitchen and dining areas clean and hygienic
• Washing up and operating simple kitchen equipment
• Helping with stock rotation and restocking supplies
• Following food safety and hygiene standards at all times

• Reliability and willingness to step in at short notice
• No previous experience required - training will be provided
• A commitment to safeguarding and working in a child‑friendly environment (DBS check required)
