Nursery Nurse - Busy Children's Nursery (Walton-on-Thames)

Full-time, 40 hours per week

Salary: £30,804 per annum

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and committed Nursery Nurse to join our busy and welcoming children's nursery in Walton-on-Thames. If you are passionate about early years education and dedicated to providing high-quality care, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver outstanding childcare and education in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment for all children
• Build strong, positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
• Support children's learning through a blend of structured and play-based activities
• Maintain accurate records, observations, and assessments
• Ensure health and safety standards are met at all times
• Follow safeguarding policies and procedures diligently

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• A full and relevant Early Years qualification
• Strong understanding and practical knowledge of the EYFS
• Awareness of the Ofsted inspection framework
• Experience working effectively within a team
• Customer service experience
• Good knowledge of health and safety practices
• Understanding of equal opportunities legislation
• Up-to-date safeguarding training
• Paediatric First Aid qualification
• A satisfactory DBS check
