HGV Class 1 Driver - Days (Tramping)

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and professional HGV Class 1 (C+E) Driver to join our logistics team on a long‑term basis. This role involves UK‑wide general haulage, delivering to depots and customer locations while following pre‑planned routes and schedules. You will be operating modern, well‑maintained vehicles and representing a business known for safety, professionalism, and excellent service.

This is a weekday-only position offering consistent start times, structured working hours, and a strong work‑life balance.

Pay & Working Hours

• Rate: £18.07 per hour
• Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Start Time: 06:00
• Average Shift Length: Approximately 10 hours
• Tramping: Required (days)

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver general haulage across the UK in line with planned routes
• Ensure safe, compliant, and efficient operation of Class 1 vehicles
• Complete all relevant paperwork and digital records accurately
• Maintain high standards of customer service and professionalism
• Adhere to all transport legislation and company policies

Candidate Requirements

• Full UK Class C+E (HGV Class 1) Licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Ideally 3+ months Class 1 driving experience
• Strong reliability, safety awareness, and customer focus
