Kitchen Assistant - Tunbridge Wells (Term Time Only)

Hours: School hours, Monday-Friday

Contract: Term‑time only

Requirements: Enhanced DBS, Level 1 Food Hygiene

We are looking for a friendly, reliable Catering Assistant to join our school catering team in Tunbridge Wells. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a busy kitchen environment and supporting the daily lunchtime experience for our pupils.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with the preparation and serving of school meals
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas
• Supporting the catering team with food preparation, washing up, and general duties
• Ensuring all food is handled safely and in line with hygiene regulations
• Providing excellent customer service to pupils and staff

About You

• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
• Level 1 Food Hygiene certificate (required)
• Friendly, approachable, and able to work as part of a team
• Reliable and punctual
• Able to follow instructions and maintain a clean, safe working environment
