Van Driver / Warehouse Operative - Bracknell (RG12)

We are seeking an experienced Full-Time Van Driver / Warehouse Operative to join our team in the Bracknell (RG12) area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse operations and previous experience as a van driver.

This is an ongoing temporary position offering excellent opportunities for overtime.

Key Information

  • Job Title: Van Driver / Warehouse Operative
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm
  • Pay Rate: £14.81 per hour (PAYE)
  • Requirement: A Basic DBS check must be completed before starting

Role Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a 3.5t van for site deliveries and perform a variety of warehouse tasks.
  • Support the team leader and colleagues in daily operational activities.
  • Carry out inventory control, including cycle counts.
  • Manage goods receiving processes efficiently.
  • Pick and pack goods accurately for outbound shipment.
  • Work towards and achieve set SLAs and KPI targets.
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping within the warehouse.
  • Process outbound materials and orders in line with work instructions.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams to ensure high-quality service delivery.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Valid driving licence with 0 penalty points and proven driving experience.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience working in a warehouse environment.
  • Previous experience using warehouse management systems such as SAP or JDA.
  • Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent numerical ability.
  • Skilled in stock picking, packing, and shipping processes.
  • Competent in inventory control and cycle counting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
  • Strong teamwork skills with the ability to follow instructions effectively.
  • Able to complete tasks accurately and on time.
  • Highly organised, with the ability to multitask and maintain attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and organisational abilities.
