The Role
As a School Chef, you will be responsible for:
- Preparing and cooking nutritious meals for pupils and staff
- Managing kitchen operations during service
- Ensuring all food safety, hygiene, and allergen standards are met
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organised kitchen
This role suits chefs who take pride in delivering high-quality food while working within a consistent routine.
About You
We are keen to hear from candidates who have:
- Experience working as a Chef or Cook in a professional kitchen
- A Level 2 Food Safety and Hygiene certificate, or willingness to obtain one
- Enhanced Child DBS certificate, or willingness to obtain one
- A reliable, calm, and professional approach to work
- The right to work in the UK
An Enhanced Child DBS certificate is desirable but not essential, as Blue Arrow can support eligible candidates with the application process.
