Job Description

As a Chef, you'll play a key role in delivering high‑quality daytime food using seasonal, locally sourced ingredients. You'll work in a brand‑new kitchen, preparing lunch dishes, baked goods, and event menus - with plenty of opportunity to bring your own ideas to the table.

Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and cooking fresh, seasonal daytime dishes
  • Working with local suppliers and produce
  • Supporting menu development with creative input
  • Maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and presentation
  • Assisting with prep, stock control, and kitchen organisation
  • Participating in food events and community‑focused activities
  • Working collaboratively within a supportive team

Candidate Must‑Haves

  • Experience as a chef or strong professional kitchen background
  • Passion for fresh, simple, well‑made food
  • Creativity and enthusiasm for menu input
  • Positive, reliable, team‑focused attitude
  • Food hygiene knowledge (or willingness to obtain certification)
