Role: Shift Engineer (Electrical Bias)Location: Leeds (LS9)Duration: 3 MonthsShift Pattern: 4 days, 4 off, 4 nights Brief<ul><li>Work alongside a dynamic maintenance team to deliver the required services, ensuring the Hospital is maintained to the highest standard.</li><li>Participate in a 4 "on" 4 "off" shift pattern</li><li>Provide a customer facing highly responsive maintenance service to the Leeds Oncology Wing</li><li>Undertake a wide range of reactive and planned maintenance tasks and carry these out to a very high standard</li><li>Provide technical guidance, assistance and information to other members of the maintenance team</li><li>Carry out training to be able to provide Authorised Person duties</li><li>Work with a high level of multi-skilling and flexibility</li><li>Manage a small shift team consisting of Maintenance Craftsman and Maintenance Assistants.</li></ul> Specification <ol><li>Lead the shift team and provide support to working colleague's</li><li>Carry out maintenance, repairs, testing and inspection of building, mechanical and electrical services, associated systems, plant and equipment in accordance with relevant standards and operational procedures.</li><li>Participate in a rotating shift pattern in order to provide a 24/7/365 service</li><li>Provide cover for absent colleagues as appropriate to maintain the service</li><li>Carry out duties in accordance with safe working practices within statutory, NHS, Trust and Company guidelines.</li><li>Be able to maintain, service and repair a wide range of the building services listed below</li><ul><li>Heating and domestic water services</li><li>General Electrical services such as lighting and power</li><li>Air handling units</li><li>Low voltage electrical distribution system and switchgear</li><li>Emergency standby generating plant</li><li>Fire alarm systems and emergency lighting</li><li>Electrical control systems</li><li>Building Management System</li></ul></ol> For more information and immediate consideration please apply directly to this advertBlue Arrow is proud to be a Disability Confident Employer and is committed to helping find great work opportunities for great people.
