This role requires exceptional driving standards, strong customer service skills, and strict adherence to all Health &amp; Safety requirements. As a key representative of our client, you will uphold professional standards at every delivery location.<hr /><h2>Key Responsibilities</h2><h3>Driving &amp; Delivery</h3><ul><li>Safely operate a Class 2 (Category C) vehicle to complete multi-drop deliveries of building materials across the UK.</li><li>Load, secure, transport, and unload goods in line with company and legal guidelines.</li><li>Complete daily vehicle checks and report defects immediately.</li><li>Ensure all delivery notes, manifests, and paperwork are completed accurately and on time.</li></ul><h3>Customer Service &amp; Representation</h3><ul><li>Act as an ambassador for the client, maintaining a professional and courteous manner at all times.</li><li>Provide excellent customer service when delivering to trade sites, merchants, and direct customer locations.</li><li>Work collaboratively with site staff and customers to ensure smooth and safe delivery of materials.</li></ul><h3>Health &amp; Safety</h3><ul><li>Follow all Health &amp; Safety protocols, including manual handling, load securing, and site‑specific safety rules.</li><li>Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant vehicle at all times.</li><li>Use appropriate PPE and comply with risk assessments and safe systems of work.</li><li>Report near misses, incidents, or hazards promptly.</li></ul><h3>Compliance</h3><ul><li>Adhere to UK driving regulations, including tachograph laws and Working Time Directive.</li><li>Follow company policies, procedures, and operational standards.</li></ul><hr /><h2>Essential Requirements</h2><ul><li>Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence.</li><li>Valid CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph card.</li><li>Previous experience delivering building or construction products advantageous</li><li>Strong understanding of safe load securing and manual handling.</li><li>Excellent communication and customer service skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules.</li></ul><hr /><h2>Personal Attributes</h2><ul><li>Safety-conscious and compliant.</li><li>Professional and customer‑focused.</li><li>Reliable, punctual, and self‑motivated.</li><li>Positive attitude and strong work ethic.</li></ul> Blue Arrow is proud to be a Disability Confident Employer and is committed to helping find great work opportunities for great people.
