School Lunchtime Supervisor

Blue Arrow are currently recruiting for Lunchtime Supervisors to work at a primary school in Birmingham, on an ongoing temporary basis.

Hours: Monday to Friday 11.20am-1.35pm

Pay rate: £12.21 per hour

Key responsibilities:

• Supervise pupils: Oversee children in the dining hall and on the playground, ensuring they are safe and behave appropriately.
• Assist students: Help younger children with tasks like cutting up food or opening packaging.
• Handle first aid: Deal with minor injuries like bumps, cuts, and grazes, and get appropriate help for more serious issues.
• Set up and clean: Prepare the dining area by setting out tables and chairs and help with clearing away and cleaning up spillages afterwards.
• Ensure safety: Monitor the playground for safety, prevent children from leaving school grounds, and report any concerns about child protection.

About you:

• Previous experience as a school lunchtime supervisor
• Holds an ENHANCED Child DBS in date within the last 12 months, or an ENHANCED DBS on the update service.
• Must have safeguarding training - BlueArrow can provide this if required
