We're recruiting two dedicated School Cleaners to join a reputable and welcoming school in Ascot. These are permanent part‑time roles that make a real difference to the daily life of pupils and staff.As part of the school's housekeeping team, you'll play a key role in maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness and contributing to a positive learning environment.<hr /><h2>What You'll Be Doing</h2>* Following cleaning schedules and instructions set by the Housekeeping Supervisor* Ensuring high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and safety at all times* Using the correct cleaning products and materials for each task* Maintaining and caring for cleaning equipment to ensure safe, effective use* Keeping all cleaning cupboards tidy, organised and secure* Safely storing materials in designated locked areas* Providing cover for colleagues during absences (may include other departments)* Attending any necessary training or team meetings* Reporting any faults or damage to your line manager* Carrying out any reasonable tasks requested by the General Services Manager or Head Teacher* Wearing the correct uniform and presenting yourself professionally* Alerting a teacher immediately if any incidents with pupils occur<hr /><h2>What We're Looking For</h2><ul><li>Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one)</li><li>Strong attention to detail and pride in your work</li><li>Reliability and excellent timekeeping</li><li>Ability to work independently and within a team</li><li>Previous cleaning experience is helpful </li></ul><hr /><h2>What You'll Receive</h2><ul><li>A permanent, stable position within a supportive school environment</li><li>Regular part‑time hours</li><li>Full training provided</li><li>A friendly team and positive working atmosphere</li><li>Opportunities to take on additional responsibilities when needed</li></ul> Blue Arrow is proud to be a Disability Confident Employer and is committed to helping find great work opportunities for great people.
