Collection and Delivery Driver (3.5 Tonne Van Driver)

The role of a Collection and Delivery Driver (3.5 Tonne Van Driver) involves the following responsibilities:

Collecting and delivering parcels in a 3.5 tonne van.

Starting each shift at the depot by loading the vehicle.

Following a planned route using a handheld device.

Scanning and recording deliveries, obtaining proof of delivery, and handling collections.

Reporting exceptions such as access issues or damaged items.

Maintaining clear communication, professional appearance, and care with parcels.

Adhering to time management, route planning, and stamina requirements.

Handling multi-drop rounds for vans, which often involve high daily stop counts up to 80 per day
