Job role: Domestic Assistant

Location: Coleraine

Pay rate: £17.22 Saturdays & £22.34 Sundays

Hours: Saturday & Sunday 8am-2pm, must be able to work both days

We are currently recruiting for dedicated and enthusiastic domestic assistants to join a hospital cleaning team in Coleraine. As a weekend worker you will be carrying out intensive cleans in the hospital wards.

Your duties will include:

• General and deep cleaning of wards and hospital areas
• Cleaning patient rooms, bays, and communal spaces
• High-touch point cleaning to support infection control
• Use of appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Safe disposal of clinical and non-clinical waste
• Adhering to hospital hygiene, health, and safety standards

Previous experience as a cleaner along with knowledge of COSHH and manual handling advantageous.

Please note- Training will take place on a weekday and an Enhanced Access NI will be required before starting this role.
