The Role
This is a dynamic position ideal for someone who loves building relationships, enjoys sales and membership engagement, and is confident using IT systems to support business success.
For around six months of the year, you'll focus heavily on membership sales, industry engagement, and promoting stand bookings for our events. Key Responsibilities
- Proactively engage with prospective and existing members via phone and email.
- Build rapport across a diverse industry from major brands to independent operators.
- Promote membership benefits and event stand opportunities.
- Develop strong product knowledge and confidently articulate our value.
- Support basic IT tasks including website updates, online listings, and digital materials.
- Contribute to presentations, marketing content, and promotional activity.
- Assist with administrative and project‑based work during quieter sales periods.
- Deliver excellent customer service and maintain accurate records.
What We're Looking For
- A confident communicator who can engage with individuals at all levels.
- Previous experience of building a website
- Comfortable with outbound calling, relationship building, and consultative sales.
- Strong IT skills - able to update websites, work with digital platforms, and learn new tools quickly.
- A proactive and positive attitude with the flexibility to adapt to seasonal business needs.
- Organisational skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to get involved in varied tasks.
- Presentation skills - able to communicate clearly both verbally and visually.
Why Join?
- A welcoming team and supportive work culture.
- Flexibility to shape and develop the role.
- An opportunity to grow your skills across sales, IT, membership engagement, and events.
- Competitive salary with the option to increase for an exceptional candidate.
- Variety across the year - no two months are the same.
