<h3><strong>Stores Keeper</strong></h3><p><strong>Location:</strong> High Wycombe</p><p><strong>Employment Type:</strong> Full-Time</p><hr /><h4><strong>About the Role</strong></h4><p>We're looking for an experienced <strong>Stores Keeper</strong> to join a dynamic manufacturing environment. This is a varied and hands-on role where you'll play a key part in supporting the <strong>Logistics &amp; Warehouse Manager</strong> and ensuring smooth operations across the factory.</p><p>You'll be responsible for managing <strong>Goods In</strong>, <strong>Forklift operations</strong>, and <strong>Banksman duties</strong>, while maintaining accurate stock control of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods. This role also involves supporting production teams and occasionally operating machinery, so flexibility and a proactive mindset are essential.</p><hr /><h4><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h4><ul><li>Maintain and organise stores for raw materials, WIP, finished goods, press tools, and recycled materials.</li><li>Support the Logistics &amp; Warehouse Manager and provide cover when required.</li><li>Assist production teams with material preparation and finishing processes (e.g., slitting, shaping, CNC routing, assembly).</li><li>Operate forklifts and act as Banksman for safe material movement.</li><li>Ensure compliance with Health &amp; Safety regulations and promote best practices (including 5S and waste reduction).</li><li>Liaise with other departments to ensure OTIF (On-Time Delivery in Full) and uphold quality standards.</li><li>Record accurate data for stock management and machine performance.</li><li>Deputise for the Logistics &amp; Warehouse Manager when necessary.</li></ul><hr /><h4><strong>What We're Looking For</strong></h4><ul><li>Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment.</li><li>Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.</li><li>Ability to read technical drawings and understand production processes.</li><li>Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset.</li><li>Knowledge of Health &amp; Safety practices and modern production tools (5S, OEE, root cause analysis).</li><li>Computer literacy (MS Office and ability to learn internal systems).</li><li>Valid UK Driver's Licence and Forklift certification (desirable).</li></ul><hr /><h4><strong>Desirable Skills</strong></h4><ul><li>Experience with CNC machines, bandsaws, and slitting equipment.</li><li>Supervisory or team leader experience in a busy production setting.</li><li>Understanding of foam types and converting processes.</li></ul><p> </p><p>Apply today !</p><p>Blue Arrow is proud to be a Disability Confident Employer and is committed to helping find great work opportunities for great people.</p>
