<h1>Inventory &amp; Admin Controller - Nottingham</h1><p><strong>Salary:</strong> £28,000 per annum</p><p><strong>Hours:</strong> Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00 (Day Shift)</p><p><strong>Contract</strong> Type: 13 x week Temp to Perm</p><h2> </h2><h2>About the Role</h2><p>We're looking for an organised and proactive Inventory &amp; Admin Controller to support inventory, stock integrity, and administration functions within a new Distribution Centre. You'll act as the key contact for all Inventory and Admin matters while helping ensure exceptional operational performance.</p><p> </p><h2>Key Responsibilities</h2><p>- Manage the site's SKU base and support Warehouse Supervisors.</p><p>- Maintain stock integrity and monitor inventory accuracy.</p><p>- Track and report performance against inventory targets.</p><p>- Review capacity forecasts and ensure adequate staffing and equipment levels.</p><p>- Lead weekly meetings and maintain accurate "Record and Action" logs.</p><p>- Build and maintain strong working relationships with customers and internal teams.</p><p>- Support operational tasks to ensure deadlines and service standards are met.</p><p>- Ensure all system reconciliations and processes are compliant and completed on time.</p><p>- Contribute to projects and continuous improvement initiatives across Inventory and Admin functions.</p><h2> </h2><h2>Skills &amp; Experience</h2><p>- Strong background in warehouse operations and fast‑moving distribution environments.</p><p>- Proven inventory management knowledge and experience.</p><p>- Excellent communication and the ability to work independently.</p><p>- Solid IT capability across Outlook, Excel, and Word; SAP knowledge desirable.</p><h2> </h2><h2>Behaviours</h2><p>- Analytical thinker with strong attention to detail.</p><p>- Reliable, self‑motivated, and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.</p><p>- Team‑oriented with a positive, flexible attitude.</p><h2> </h2><p>If this sounds like the role for you please apply online or call Benn Laverick - 01283537660</p><p>Blue Arrow is proud to be a Disability Confident Employer and is committed to helping find great work opportunities for great people.</p>
