Inventory & Admin Controller - Nottingham

Salary: £28,000 per annum

Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00 (Day Shift)

Contract Type: 13 x week Temp to Perm

About the Role

We're looking for an organised and proactive Inventory & Admin Controller to support inventory, stock integrity, and administration functions within a new Distribution Centre. You'll act as the key contact for all Inventory and Admin matters while helping ensure exceptional operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the site's SKU base and support Warehouse Supervisors.

- Maintain stock integrity and monitor inventory accuracy.

- Track and report performance against inventory targets.

- Review capacity forecasts and ensure adequate staffing and equipment levels.

- Lead weekly meetings and maintain accurate "Record and Action" logs.

- Build and maintain strong working relationships with customers and internal teams.

- Support operational tasks to ensure deadlines and service standards are met.

- Ensure all system reconciliations and processes are compliant and completed on time.

- Contribute to projects and continuous improvement initiatives across Inventory and Admin functions.

Skills & Experience

- Strong background in warehouse operations and fast‑moving distribution environments.

- Proven inventory management knowledge and experience.

- Excellent communication and the ability to work independently.

- Solid IT capability across Outlook, Excel, and Word; SAP knowledge desirable.
