Compounding Unit Operator

Location: Burton-on-Trent

Pay: £12.78 per hour

Hours: Full-Time | Temp to Perm

We are currently recruiting a Compounding Unit Operator to join a growing Pharmaceutical Fulfilment Team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a highly regulated, sterile environment with full training provided. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to gain an NVQ qualification and, upon securing a permanent contract, increase their salary to £26,836 per annum.


Shift Pattern

Week 1: Monday to Friday, 6:00am - 2:00pm

Week 2:

  • Monday to Thursday: 1:00pm - 9:00pm
  • Friday: 11:00am - 7:00pm

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare base materials for the manufacture of medicinal products
  • Inspect and quality-check finished products
  • Label and pack products for final checks
  • Manage stock control, including ordering raw materials and receiving deliveries
  • Complete and process all supporting documentation accurately
  • Ensure environmental conditions are maintained in line with manufacturing procedures
  • After completing training, assist in the manufacture of medical products according to specifications

Requirements

  • Experience working in a regulated production environment
  • Experience within a pharmaceutical or hospital setting (preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proficient in using IT systems
