We are currently recruiting a Compounding Unit Operator to join a growing Pharmaceutical Fulfilment Team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a highly regulated, sterile environment with full training provided. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to gain an NVQ qualification and, upon securing a permanent contract, increase their salary to £26,836 per annum.
Shift Pattern
Week 1: Monday to Friday, 6:00am - 2:00pm
Week 2:
- Monday to Thursday: 1:00pm - 9:00pm
- Friday: 11:00am - 7:00pm
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare base materials for the manufacture of medicinal products
- Inspect and quality-check finished products
- Label and pack products for final checks
- Manage stock control, including ordering raw materials and receiving deliveries
- Complete and process all supporting documentation accurately
- Ensure environmental conditions are maintained in line with manufacturing procedures
- After completing training, assist in the manufacture of medical products according to specifications
Requirements
- Experience working in a regulated production environment
- Experience within a pharmaceutical or hospital setting (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficient in using IT systems
