🥪 School Catering Assistant - Term Time Only 🍴

📍 Location: ST4

🕒 Monday to Friday (term time only)

⏰ Hours: 10am - 2pm OR 1030am-230pm OR 11am-3pm (dependant on school)

💷 Pay: £12.21 per hour

We are hiring Catering Assistants to support schools in the ST4 area. Whether you're looking to return to work, want something that fits around your family life, or just prefer shorter shifts, this could be the perfect opportunity.

No catering experience? No problem. If you're enthusiastic, hard-working and willing to learn, we would love to hear from you.

You will need an Enhanced Child DBS to work in schools. If you don't have one already, we can help you apply.

🧾 What you'll be doing:

Helping prepare and serve food and drinks

Operating the tills during lunch service

Clearing and cleaning tables

Unpacking and storing deliveries

Washing dishes and keeping kitchen areas tidy

Following food hygiene and health and safety procedures

Providing friendly and efficient service to students and staff

✅ What we're looking for:

Food Hygiene Level 1 (dated within the last 12 months)

Happy to support with cleaning and general kitchen tasks

Strong time management and organisational skills

Able to work both independently and as part of a team

Clear communicator who can report issues appropriately

Reliable, hard-working and motivated

Experience in a similar setting is helpful but not essential
