<h3>Job Title: Painter / General Operative</h3>Location: SudburyEmployment Type: OngoingPay Rate: £13.25 per hourWorking Hours:<ul><li>Monday - Thursday: 08:00 - 17:00</li><li>Friday: 08:00 - 16:30</li></ul><hr /><h3>Job Purpose</h3>To assist with painting and general maintenance tasks, ensuring all equipment and surfaces are prepared and finished to a high standard. The role also includes supporting warehouse operations and performing general duties to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.<hr /><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Painting: Prepare surfaces, apply paint, and ensure a clean, professional finish on equipment and materials.</li><li>Maintenance: Carry out minor repairs and upkeep of warehouse equipment and structures.</li><li>General Duties: Assist with cleaning, organising, and maintaining a tidy workspace.</li><li>Loading and Unloading: Support with manual handling of materials when required.</li><li>Health &amp; Safety: Follow all company health and safety procedures, including wearing PPE and maintaining a safe working environment.</li><li>Teamwork: Work closely with other operatives and staff to ensure smooth operations.</li></ul><hr /><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>Previous experience in painting or general maintenance (preferred but not essential)</li><li>Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks</li><li>Good attention to detail and ability to work independently</li><li>Team player with a proactive attitude</li><li>own transport is required due to area</li></ul>If interested, please apply below and we will get back to you Blue Arrow is proud to be a Disability Confident Employer and is committed to helping find great work opportunities for great people.
