<h4><strong>Job Purpose</strong></h4><p>To deliver kegs, casks, and packaged products safely and efficiently to customers, ensuring excellent service and compliance with all legal and company standards.</p><hr /><h4><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h4><ul><li><strong>Vehicle Operation:</strong> Drive a Class 2 (Category C) vehicle in accordance with UK road laws and company policies.</li><li><strong>Delivery Duties:</strong> Load, transport, and unload beer kegs, casks, and other products to pubs, bars, and venues.</li><li><strong>Manual Handling:</strong> Safely handle heavy loads using appropriate lifting techniques and equipment.</li><li><strong>Customer Service:</strong> Provide a professional and courteous service to customers, resolving any delivery issues promptly.</li><li><strong>Compliance:</strong> Complete all necessary paperwork, including delivery notes and vehicle checks.</li><li><strong>Safety:</strong> Adhere to health and safety regulations, including wearing PPE and following manual handling guidelines.</li><li><strong>Vehicle Maintenance:</strong> Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects immediately.</li></ul><hr /><h4><strong>Skills &amp; Qualifications</strong></h4><ul><li>Valid <strong>Class 2 (Category C) HGV licence, Digi card</strong> and <strong>Driver CPC</strong>.</li><li>Experience in dray work or similar heavy lifting role preferred.</li><li>Good knowledge of UK road transport regulations.</li><li>Strong physical fitness and ability to handle heavy loads.</li><li>Excellent communication and customer service skills.</li></ul><hr /><h4><strong>Working Conditions</strong></h4><ul><li>Early starts and occasional weekend work may be required.</li><li>Physically demanding role involving heavy lifting and outdoor work in all weather conditions.</li></ul><p> </p><p>Blue Arrow is proud to be a Disability Confident Employer and is committed to helping find great work opportunities for great people.</p>
