OverviewWe are seeking a highly qualified, experienced and compassionate Registered Manager to oversee the daily operations of the residential children's care home.You will lead the home with passion, professionalism and a child-centred approach. You will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care, compliance with Ofsted regulations, and the development of a skilled, motivated team.Duties<ul><li>Manage the homes daily operations with focus on quality and care</li><li>Foster a positive team environment through effective leadership and mentoring</li><li>Lead and inspire the care team to deliver exceptional, child-centred care using DDP and PACE</li><li>Develop, implement and regularly review individualised care plans for children</li><li>Build strong relationships with children, families and external professionals ; also need to be able to liase with them as well as healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care delivery</li><li>Oversee medication administration in accordance with healthcare regulations and best practices</li><li>Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, including safeguarding protocols, and health &amp; safety regulations</li><li>Monitor and maintain accurate documentation relating to resident care, staff rotas, and operational procedures</li><li>Carry out Reg 45 Reviews</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>&gt;2 years experience in a residential children's care home within the past 5 years</li><li>Proven experience (&gt;1yr) in a senior leadership role involving the management and supervision of people in a care role</li><li>Level 5 Diploma in Leadership &amp; Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards this)</li><li>Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding procedures</li><li>Exceptional communication skills</li><li>Excellent organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to develop detailed care plans and prioritise effectively</li><li>A genuine passion for making a difference in young people's lives</li></ul> Shifts: 40 hour working week - including some weekends.
