Royal Gwent Hospital - Facilities are looking for reliable, hard‑working individuals to join their team as Facilities Cleaners and Porters. This is an essential role supporting the smooth running of the hospital and ensuring a safe, clean environment for patients, staff and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

• General cleaning duties across wards, corridors, public areas and clinical spaces
• Safe movement of equipment, supplies and furniture around the hospital
• Supporting clinical teams with non‑patient‑facing tasks
• Maintaining hygiene standards in line with NHS guidelines
• Responding to ad‑hoc requests from the facilities team
• Working as part of a wider support team to keep the site running smoothly

What We're Looking For

• Previous cleaning or facilities experience is helpful but not essential
• Good communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude
• Ability to work on your feet and handle manual tasks
• Reliability and strong timekeeping
• Comfort working in a hospital environment
