Production Operative - Newport Sector: Warehouse | Pay: £12.21 per hour | Shifts: Mon-Sun

About the Role We are recruiting Production Operatives to join a busy production environment in Newport. This is a hands‑on role with opportunities to support core manufacturing and logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle raw materials, including loading, unloading, and storage.
• Feed hoppers for the bagging plant.
• Carry out quality control checks to ensure products meet specifications.
• Assist with routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment.
• Follow health, safety, and environmental regulations to maintain a safe workplace.
• Support dispatch and logistics operations.

Requirements

• Experience in manufacturing, agricultural, or fertiliser production (preferred).
• Ability to operate machinery and follow production processes.
• Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment.
• Forklift and shovel licence (desirable).
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills.
• Good physical fitness, with manual handling involved.

Additional Information

• Induction: Risk assessment and health & safety briefing carried out on day one.
• Uniform: Safety boots and high‑vis required.
• Holiday Entitlement: Pre‑ and post‑AWR entitlement applies.
• Pay: £12.21 per hour.
• Shifts: Typically 06:00 - 18:00, Monday to Sunday.
