<h3><strong>Catering Manager - School</strong></h3><p><strong>Location:</strong> Cambridge</p><p><strong>Salary:</strong> 40K</p><p><strong>Contract:</strong> Full-time, 52 weeks (plus occasional weekends)</p><p>Are you passionate about delivering healthy, nutritious meals and creating a positive dining experience for young people? We are looking for an experienced <strong>Catering Manager</strong> to lead our school kitchen and catering team.</p><h4><strong>About the Role</strong></h4><p>As Catering Manager, you will:</p><ul><li>Oversee the day-to-day running of the school kitchen.</li><li>Plan and prepare balanced, appealing menus in line with nutritional standards.</li><li>Manage stock control, ordering, and budgets effectively.</li><li>Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health &amp; safety regulations.</li><li>Lead, motivate, and develop a small team of catering staff.</li><li>Work closely with school leadership to support special events and initiatives.</li></ul><h4><strong>About You</strong></h4><p>We're looking for someone who:</p><ul><li>Has previous experience in catering management (school or similar environment preferred).</li><li>Holds a Level 3 Food Safety qualification (or willing to achieve).</li><li>Is highly organised, proactive, and able to manage budgets.</li><li>Enjoys working in a busy environment and takes pride in delivering excellent service.</li></ul><h4><strong>What We Offer</strong></h4><ul><li>A friendly and supportive school community.</li><li>Opportunities for training and professional development.</li><li>Term-time working with occasional flexibility for events.</li></ul><p>Qualification * Relevant qualification (for example, culinary or cookery) * Level 3 Food Hygiene Certificate * GCSE level achieved in English and Maths or equivalent</p><p>Blue Arrow is proud to be a Disability Confident Employer and is committed to helping find great work opportunities for great people.</p>
