Blue Arrow are recruiting for Part-Time Cleaners to work a college based in Scunthorpe.

Key Job Duties of a College Cleaner:

* General Cleaning Tasks

* Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors in classrooms, offices, corridors, and staircases.

* Dust and clean furniture, fixtures, and fittings.

* Empty litter bins and replace refuse sacks.

* Periodic deep cleaning of walls, paintwork, skirting boards, radiators, and windows.

* Sanitary & Hygiene Responsibilities

* Clean toilets, sinks, washbasins, and sanitary areas daily.

* Replenish toilet rolls, paper towels, and soap dispensers.

* Ensure compliance with colour-coded cleaning equipment to prevent cross-contamination.

* Specialized Cleaning

* Use buffing machines, carpet shampooers, and polishing equipment when required.

* Assist with spring cleaning, conference preparation, and student room checklists.

* Health & Safety

* Work within college health and safety policies.

* Report hazards or maintenance issues to supervisors.

* Follow prescribed cleaning schedules and methods.

* Team & Administrative Duties

* Work under the Cleaning Supervisor or Domestic Services Manager.

* Maintain records of completed cleaning tasks (e.g., checklists).

The working hours will be 3:30pm-7pm Monday - Friday.

£12.21 per hour

Candidates will not need a DBS check as the college will be closed at these times.
