Chef - Catering ServicesLocation: WinchesterSalary: Band 3 We're looking for a dedicated Chef to join our catering team, helping deliver high‑quality meals to staff, visitors, and service users. This is a hands‑on role where you'll prepare fresh dishes, support menu development, and ensure food safety standards are consistently met. What you'll do<ul><li>Prepare and cook meals from fresh ingredients</li><li>Present dishes to a high standard with portion control</li><li>Support function catering and special dietary requirements</li><li>Maintain hygiene, record food temperatures, and follow food safety legislation</li><li>Assist with menu planning and stock rotation</li></ul>What we're looking for<ul><li>City &amp; Guilds 706/1 and 706/2 (or equivalent)</li><li>Basic Food Hygiene certificate (Intermediate desirable)</li><li>Experience in large‑scale food production</li><li>Knowledge of HACCP, COSHH, and food hygiene regulations</li><li>Strong teamwork, organisation, and communication skills</li><li>Flexible, professional, and calm under pressure</li></ul> Blue Arrow is proud to be a Disability Confident Employer and is committed to helping find great work opportunities for great people.
