About the Role:We are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our client in Sunderland, on a temporary ongoing basis. This position will provide vital support to two departments within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, ensuring efficient operations and accurate documentation.The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar industry and demonstrate strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Duties:<ul><li>End-to-end purchase order (PO) management - raising and sending POs to suppliers</li><li>Input payroll data from timesheets into Excel</li><li>Handle payroll and HR queries (including maternity leave, SSP, and employee changes)</li><li>Process invoicing</li><li>Order consumables, workwear, and stationery</li><li>Distribute quotes to engineers and track status</li><li>Support invoicing by checking quote status and marking approvals</li><li>Support with overtime payroll entries</li></ul> Skills &amp; Experience Required:<ul><li>Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word</li><li>Strong attention to detail and organizational skills</li><li>Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines</li><li>Excellent communication skills for liaising with suppliers, engineers, and internal teams</li></ul> Rate<ul><li>£14.06ph</li></ul>Hours:<ul><li>Monday - Thursday - 8am-4:30pm</li><li>Friday - 8am-2:30pm</li><li>40hrs per week</li></ul>Role:<ul><li>Start date - Mon 15th Dec</li><li>Temp ongoing</li></ul> Blue Arrow is proud to be a Disability Confident Employer and is committed to helping find great work opportunities for great people.
