We're looking for a Premises Officer to join our team and help maintain our school site to the highest standards. <h4>About the Role</h4>As a Premises Officer, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our school is secure, clean, and well-maintained. From managing site security and overseeing contractors to carrying out minor repairs and setting up for school events, you'll be at the heart of keeping our facilities running smoothly. <h4>Key Responsibilities</h4><ul><li>Act as a key-holder and manage site security, including alarms and access.</li><li>Carry out routine inspections and minor repairs, reporting compliance issues promptly.</li><li>Support the Senior Caretaker with building systems, lighting, heating, and utilities.</li><li>Liaise with contractors and supervise works on-site.</li><li>Set up rooms and equipment for school events and exams.</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and safety across the site, including snow clearance and litter picking.</li><li>Ensure health and safety procedures are followed and risk assessments completed.</li><li>Participate in an out-of-hours call-out rota and assist during emergencies.(This will include being on the call out Roster so will include weekend cover where required) </li></ul><h4>What We're Looking For</h4><ul><li>GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths, or relevant experience.</li><li>Practical skills for maintenance and repairs, with a willingness to learn.</li><li>Ability to work flexibly, including occasional evenings and weekends.</li><li>Strong communication skills and a proactive approach.</li><li>Commitment to safeguarding, equality, and health &amp; safety standards.</li></ul><h4>Why Join Us?</h4><ul><li>Be part of a supportive team that values your contribution.</li><li>Opportunities for training and development.</li><li>A role where no two days are the same, and your work makes a real difference.</li></ul>Interested?
