Role: Customer Service
Location: G2 8LA - Glasgow
Contract Type: Temporary ongoing
Pay Rate: £15.92 per hour
Working Pattern: Full-time, 35 hours per week
Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 09:00-17:00
Hybrid Working: 2 days per week (after training and competency achieved)
Training: 4 weeks (100% attendance required)
About the Role
Be part of the UK's biggest telecoms provider, who are specialists in providing Industry leading expertise backed by innovative technology. You will play a key role in shaping the future of connectivity. As an Order Placement & Management Team Member, you'll manage customer orders across multiple systems and support critical projects like the migration of legacy PSTN lines to fibre technology, helping businesses and consumers embrace next-generation services.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all allocated tasks within defined targets.
- Coordinate orders across back-end systems (FAST, Siebel, OCS, etc.).
- Maintain accurate job notes and records.
- Monitor delivery performance and take corrective actions.
- Handle complaints and escalations through to resolution.
- Support fibre migration projects, ensuring smooth transition from copper-based networks to IP/fibre infrastructure.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement improvement plans.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Build positive relationships with customers and suppliers.
Skills Required
* Excellent communication and listening skills
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making
* Knowledge of telecom migration (PSTN to fibre/IP) is a plus
* Attention to detail and process adherence
* Resilience, adaptability, and accountability whilst working in a fast-paced environment
