Catering Assistant - Warwick

Blue Arrow are recruiting for Warehouse Cleaners to work at a large distribution centre based in Rugby. Duties will include: 🧹 General Cleaning Tasks * Sweeping and mopping floors to remove dust, dirt, and spills. * Vacuuming carpets or mats in office or break areas. * Dusting surfaces including shelves, machinery, and ventilation ducts. * Emptying bins and disposing of waste properly. 🧼 Sanitation and Hygiene * Cleaning restrooms and replenishing supplies like soap and toilet paper. * Sanitizing high-touch areas such as door handles, switches, and shared equipment. * Maintaining cleanliness in break rooms and kitchen areas. 🚛 Warehouse-Specific Duties * Clearing debris from loading docks and storage areas to prevent accidents. * Cleaning spills promptly, especially hazardous materials, following safety protocols. * Reporting any safety hazards or maintenance issues to supervisors. 🧯 Safety and Compliance * Using cleaning chemicals safely and wearing appropriate PPE. * Following health and safety regulations and company policies. * Keeping cleaning equipment in good condition and storing it properly. 🗂 Administrative Tasks (Occasionally) * Logging cleaning activities or completing checklists. * Coordinating with warehouse staff to avoid disrupting operations.
