Role: Electrical Engineer Pay rate: £16.64 - £19.61 per hourShift pattern: 4 on 4 off rotation 7am-7pm/7pm-7am through the year.Contract: ongoing until end of March 2026 Bluearrow are recruiting an Electrical Engineer to work four our client in Birmingham, B15 area. Ideal candidate will be responsible for the delivery of engineering maintenance service in line with contractual obligations, industry best practice and relevant standards and guidance (HTM). The role is to ensure planned preventive maintenance, testing, breakdown/reactive maintenance activities on the estate are completed and records maintained. Qualifications or Required Experience: Required<ul><li>Management/supervisory competency qualifications or appropriate level of demonstrable experience. Minimum of five years' Management experience in an NHS or similar critical infrastructure environment</li><li>Indentured apprenticeship or equivalent training.</li><li>Healthcare and/or Healthcare PFI experience</li><li>City &amp; Guilds (or equivalent) trade related qualifications with some examples listed below.</li></ul>Mechanical<ul><li>City &amp; Guilds Mechanical Engineering Level 2 &amp; 3</li><li>City &amp; Guilds Pipefitting &amp; Plumbing Level 2 &amp; 3</li><li>City &amp; Guilds Plumbing Level 2 &amp; 3</li><li>Relevant City &amp; Guilds Mechanical qualifications</li></ul>Electrical<ul><li>Electrical Installation - Approved apprenticeship with either:</li><li>City &amp; Guild 236 Part 1, 2 &amp; 3 Parts A, B, C or</li><li>City &amp; Guilds 2360 Parts 1, 2, 3 or</li><li>City &amp; Guilds 2330 Level 2, Level 3, (Level 4 - desirable) or</li><li>City &amp; Guilds 2560 (2357) - Diploma</li><li>18th Edition of the Wiring Regulations (BS 7671 - 2018 Amendment)</li><li>City &amp; Guilds 2394 Testing &amp; Inspection Certification</li><li>City &amp; Guilds 2395 Testing &amp; Inspection Certification</li></ul> Desirable <ul><li>ONC or National Certificate in relevant area</li><li>HNC/HND in a relevant area</li><li>HTM-02 Authorised Persons for Medical Gas Pipelines Systems (MGPS)</li><li>HTM-03 Authorised Persons for specialist Ventilations Systems</li><li>HTM-06-(02)(03) Authorised Persons for LV and/or HV</li><li>Minimum of five years of LV Knowledge &amp; experience</li><li>Minimum of five years of HV Knowledge &amp; experience</li><li>Authorised Persons for Mechanical Systems</li><li>Confined Spaces Authorised Persons</li><li>MEWP Training IPAF</li><li>IOSH/NEBOSH General/Fire certificates</li><li>IWFM certification</li><li>Degree/Masters degree in related engineering discipline</li></ul> Bluearrow offers weekly pay, holiday accrual and pension scheme.
