  • Monday to Friday: 7:00am - 2:30pm
  • Every 3rd Saturday: 7:00am - 12:00pm

Role Overview

We are seeking a Chef Manager to lead our kitchen operations. This role is chef‑focused first, managerial second - your primary responsibility is cooking high‑quality meals with speed and precision. You will prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner for a busy catering environment, ensuring consistency, safety, and efficiency.

This position does not involve cash handling. Your focus will be on delivering excellent food and maintaining smooth kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook breakfast, lunch, and dinner to a high standard.
  • Ensure meals are produced quickly and efficiently to meet service demands.
  • Maintain food quality, presentation, and hygiene standards at all times.
  • Oversee kitchen operations and support staff when required.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and health & safety regulations.
  • Organise kitchen workflow to deliver meals on time.
  • Take pride in the food produced and continuously look for improvements.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience as a chef, ideally with some supervisory or managerial exposure.
  • Strong culinary skills with the ability to work at speed without compromising quality.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead by example and support junior staff when needed.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Positive, proactive attitude with pride in the food you create.
  • Flexibility to work occasional Saturdays.
