Role Overview
We are seeking a Chef Manager to lead our kitchen operations. This role is chef‑focused first, managerial second - your primary responsibility is cooking high‑quality meals with speed and precision. You will prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner for a busy catering environment, ensuring consistency, safety, and efficiency.
This position does not involve cash handling. Your focus will be on delivering excellent food and maintaining smooth kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook breakfast, lunch, and dinner to a high standard.
- Ensure meals are produced quickly and efficiently to meet service demands.
- Maintain food quality, presentation, and hygiene standards at all times.
- Oversee kitchen operations and support staff when required.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and health & safety regulations.
- Organise kitchen workflow to deliver meals on time.
- Take pride in the food produced and continuously look for improvements.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a chef, ideally with some supervisory or managerial exposure.
- Strong culinary skills with the ability to work at speed without compromising quality.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to lead by example and support junior staff when needed.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
- Positive, proactive attitude with pride in the food you create.
- Flexibility to work occasional Saturdays.
