Blue Arrow are recruiting a Site Manager to run the facilities team of a school in Birmingham. Job role:<ul><li>Manage the facilities team, delegating task</li><li>Manage key site services such as heating, lighting, waste disposal and security, responding promptly to faults or emergencies.</li><li style="text-align: left;">Monitor and maintain all health and safety requirements, including fire safety checks, COSHH compliance, emergency lighting and site risk records.</li><li style="text-align: left;">Lead and supervise the cleaning team and site assistant, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and effective staff deployment.</li><li style="text-align: left;">Maintaining the school buildings, grounds and undertaking janitorial and cleaning work</li><li style="text-align: left;">Maintain the security of the school's buildings and grounds, ensuring health and safety is maintained at all times</li><li style="text-align: left;">Ensuring the school's policies and procedures in line with Health and Safety Regulations, risk management, site security and compliance with safeguarding</li></ul>About you:<ul><li>Experience in general maintenance, caretaking, or site support work.</li><li>Good understanding of COSHH awareness and Health and Safety knowledge.</li><li>Holds an ENHANCED Child DBS in date within the last 12 months, or an ENHANCED DBS on the update service.</li><li>Must have safeguarding training - BlueArrow can provide this if required</li><li>Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.</li></ul> Hours: Monday to Friday 6.30am-2pmPay Rate: £14.00 per hourImmediate startBlue Arrow is proud to be a Disability Confident Employer and is committed to helping find great work opportunities for great people.
