Blue Arrow is urgently recruiting for a Warehouse Operator (amazon Dept) to join our clients team based in the Baglan area. Paid Weekly! Rate of pay: £14.05ph inc 15% shift allowance Hours of work: 6am-6pm shifts: 12 hour day shifts on a 2 week rotating shift pattern (averages out at 42 hours per week) Shift Pattern:Week 1 Days Days Off Off Days Days DaysWeek 2 Off Off Days Days Off Off Off Contract: Temp contract for Christmas period Main Responsibilities:<ul><li>Accurately pick and prepare stock in line with customer orders</li><li>Scan pallet labels and correctly allocate stock to designated areas</li><li>Stack products securely on pallets and apply protective wrapping to maintain quality</li><li>Safely load trailers using Powered Pallet Trucks (PPT) in accordance with operational standards.</li><li>Maintain a high standard of housekeeping to ensure a clean and organised work environment</li><li>Comply with all Health &amp; Safety regulations and company procedures</li><li>Complete all required documentation accurately and on time</li><li>Promptly report any product damage or quality issues to the relevant team</li></ul> Requirements:<ul><li>Experience using handheld scanners preferred</li><li>Has previous experience working in manufacturing or a warehouse environment</li><li>Experience using ride on powered pump trucks preferred but not essential</li><li>Excellent communication skills</li><li>Works well in a team and individually</li></ul> DBS checks will be carried out on day 1 of the assignment and the company offers a NO conviction policy.
