Warehouse Operative (Amazon Dept)

Blue Arrow is urgently recruiting for a Warehouse Operator (amazon Dept) to join our clients team based in the Baglan area. Paid Weekly!

Rate of pay: £14.05ph inc 15% shift allowance

Hours of work: 6am-6pm shifts: 12 hour day shifts on a 2 week rotating shift pattern (averages out at 42 hours per week)

Contract: Temp contract for Christmas period

Main Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick and prepare stock in line with customer orders
• Scan pallet labels and correctly allocate stock to designated areas
• Stack products securely on pallets and apply protective wrapping to maintain quality
• Safely load trailers using Powered Pallet Trucks (PPT) in accordance with operational standards.
• Maintain a high standard of housekeeping to ensure a clean and organised work environment
• Comply with all Health & Safety regulations and company procedures
• Complete all required documentation accurately and on time
• Promptly report any product damage or quality issues to the relevant team

Requirements:

• Experience using handheld scanners preferred
• Has previous experience working in manufacturing or a warehouse environment
• Experience using ride on powered pump trucks preferred but not essential
• Excellent communication skills
• Works well in a team and individually

DBS checks will be carried out on day 1 of the assignment and the company offers a NO conviction policy.
